Mental Awareness Neighbornet

Glendale Heights YM Sister’s weekly neighbornet will be hosting SEEMA Co-founder, Naureen Ahmed, on Friday, July 27th, 7pm at ICW Mosque.
SEEMA, an organizational arm of MUHSEN, advocates to embrace and empower mental health by way of support groups, educational workshops, social activities, and access to professionals, to eradicate mental health stigma within the Muslim community.
Naureen Ahmed will be speaking about her experiences living with her mother’s mental illness. This is a free event, sister’s only. Typical attendees of our neighbornet are aged 14-26.
